Who we are

This website belongs to BDG Contracts Ltd, a retrofit subcontractor working across South East England. Our registered office is 8 Pekin Close, London, Greater London E14 6HA. If anything on this page isn’t clear, ask us: email admin@bdgcontracts.co.uk or call 07577 348313.

The enquiry form

If you send the form on our contact page, we receive exactly what you type: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the topic you pick and your message. It is emailed straight to our enquiries inbox so we can reply — it is not saved on this website, not added to any database or mailing list, and not shared with anyone else. The promise printed under the form’s button — “We only use your details to reply. No mailing lists.” — is exactly how it works. Once our reply is no longer needed, the email is simply deleted like any other correspondence.

Our lawful basis for handling your enquiry is our legitimate interest in replying to, and following up, the message you chose to send us — and nothing beyond that.

Visit counts (analytics)

We count visits with Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that works without cookies. It tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not identify you, follow you to other websites, or build a profile of you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies for visitors— which is why there is no cookie banner to click away. The one exception is the sign-in for BDG staff who edit the site’s content: signing in there sets cookies for those staff accounts only, never for visitors.

When something breaks (error reports)

If a page misbehaves, an automatic error report tells us what went wrong so we can fix it — which page, which browser, and the technical details of the fault (we use a service called Sentry for this). These reports are used only for fixing faults and are deleted automatically after a few months.

Photographs of our work

We publish photographs of completed work on this website with the permission of the client whose property it is. If you would ever like a photograph taken down, just ask — email admin@bdgcontracts.co.uk — and we will remove it.

Your rights

The details above are usually everything we ever hold about you. Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct or delete it — email admin@bdgcontracts.co.uk and we’ll sort it out within a month.

If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. We’d always hope you would talk to us first so we can put it right.

If we ever change how this site handles your details, this page changes first — with a new date at the top.
